Reality has been quite insane lately, which is affecting my art work, and since I tend to share more on here than I do on my other sites, you guys get to hear what's going on.

As some of you might know, in addition to art, I also work full-time at the front desk of a hotel. Its a very demanding, stressful job, so when things get crazier than normal, it tends to suck out any energy I have for other things. Especially drawing. I'm rubbish when I'm tired.

As a result (and as I hope many of you noticed), I posted filler at "Tock the Gnome" www.tockthegnome.com/ for the last 3 weeks. Page 29 is supposed to be going up tomorrow, but I'm not even done with the pencils yet, though I do plan on posting whatever progress I DO manage to make in order to keep the story moving. On another positive note, I finally shipped out the last of the first set of Art Card commissions last week, to the wonderful Thanks so much to everyone who ordered one! If you're interested, commissions are still open, though they might take me a little time to complete. $15 for standard art card size (2.5 by 3.5 inches, ink and colored pencil on bristol board). With those and the series I did for this summer, that makes 6 completed art cards so far.

I really enjoy doing these, and have three more in the works, though I haven't had much time to work on them. Eventually when I get my Etsy shop up, I'll be selling them there (both originals and lineart prints).

Finally, and kinda vaguely, I've also got a potential Show in my future. Nothing definite yet, but I'll keep you all posted.
