Anyway, this is a shout-out piece in pride of ALL natural body types, not just BBW. This actually stems from an event in one of my gender-studies-esque classes last semester. In the first class, the teacher asked us to get into three groups depending on how we identified - non-feminist, not sure, or feminist. The feminist group consisted of only me and this one other girl, who was stick thin. We talked, and it turned out we both have the same beef about society and body image, only on different ends of the spectrum. She's just naturally that thin and people always harrass her about being bulimic or anorexic, which pisses her off (understandabley so).
So, here this is in honor of ALL women's bodies. We are all sacred and beautiful no matter what society tells us to think.
P.S. The reason they're in grey underthingys is because some of my inspiration for this came from a certain women's underwear ad where they used girls with real bodies. Not BBW, mind you, but still impressive considering what advertising usually depicts as female.
P.P.S. I've also discouraged critique on this one, as I know the art is sub-par for me, but it still gets the message across so I'm happy with it. Feel free to comment anyway!
As many people have stated before, THIS is what body acceptance should be. Many people who grab onto the quote are usually the ones who don't understand what it means and are the first to bash anyone who doesn't look like what they would like to use for arosment. (sp)
Serisouly, in no way does body acceptance mean 'hey! If i say I like THIS type of woman, I'm gonna get laid!' and unfortunatly, that's what its come down to in some parts.
I really like your style. Its so soft and original and the colors are done nicly.

yeah, I'm a thin person myself and I use to have people back in high school thinking I was anorexic.
I think the female body is beautiful no matter how you look at it. As an artist I appreciate most body types and it's sad that society limits itself to only one type of beauty.
